By fostering a space for inclusive communication, it is possible to address the root causes of conflict and pave the way for long-lasting peace (Lederach, 2003). This article delves into the role of dialogue in peace-building initiatives within war-torn communities in Southeast Asia and analyzes how different stakeholders contribute to negotiating peace. In recent decades, Southeast Asia has witnessed a rise in both intrastate and interstate conflicts, primarily driven by historical tensions, political grievances, and socio-economic disparities (Caballero-Anthony, 2016).
